The On the Waterfront Festival is Illinois’s largest music festival, held annually over Labor Day Weekend in Rockford. This event attracts over 350,000 people and covers over 30 city blocks in the heart of the River District. Eight music stages feature a variety of music and entertainment including jazz, blues, country, rock swing, ethnic, zydeco, reggae, acoustic and oldies.
